WEBSITE: Get little black dress ready but don't limit yourself to water and crackers- http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/workout/lose-weight/total-body/4-week-slim-sculpt-little-black-dress-workout/?sssdmh=dm17.488269&esrc=nwfitdailytip120610&email=2686729334

You just finished a grueling workout and there is no doubt you need to refuel your muscles fast. With all the options out there, it can be hard to choose. Water? Gatorade? Powerade? Muscle Milk? While all have their benefits, who would think your childhood favorite should be added to this list.
Chocolate milk has made it's move into the muscle-recovery realm, and thank goodness! Now you can enjoy this stuff without feeling too guilty (unless you fill the glass 1/2 full with chocolate-then not so much!)
Water is good and a very needed staple post-workout but it replenishes your sweat-loss alone. So what is it about chocolate milk that has made such a movement in the world of endurance athletes?
1. It has high levels of both carbohydrates and proteins which are both necessary for tired, strained muscles
2. It has a high water content to replace fluids lost when sweating
3. The sodium and sugar content help athletes regain lost energy
4. Don't forget the nutritional calcium bonus
5. It's easy and cheap. Believe me, all those crazy workout drinks can add up quickly!
6. It tastes great :)
Be honest about your workout, a lap around the block doesn't require supplemental recovery drinks but intense workouts really do take a toll on the body. In order to replenish your supply and energy, reach for that tasty favorite from 1st grade!
